  This year I decided to take on two challenges: 1) compete in an endurance race 2) find a way to help a wonderful person and very worthy cause The endurance race that I will compete in is a 109 mile cycling event in Tucson, AZ on November 21, 2009. The cause is to raise money to find a cure for Leukemia. As many of you already know, Joan Dunn (Michelle's mom) has been fighting Leukemia for over two years now. She recently came out of remission and needed a second round of chemotherapy. Please keep her in your thoughts. So, through this race, I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I'm asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Over the next six months we train as a team with a cycling coach to prepare for this race.
